PRN Clinic CMA
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES This position shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies under the direction of the clinic practitioner. Assists physicians and resident physicians when completing physical examinations. Obtains laboratory specimens and prepares them for transport. Provides clerical support and maintains systematic initiation and follow up of scheduled events. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferably in the area of application. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards as defined and described on individual, department competencies. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Licenses/Certificates: Medical Assistant Certification
PRN CNA
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direct care and assists in the monitoring of assigned patients under the direction and supervision of an RN. Performs other duties as assigned by the RN. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Six months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a hospital preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Current BLS certification or obtain one in the first week of orientation.

POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Under pharmacist supervision, performs a variety of duties in the procurement, preparation, and distribution of medications in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner. POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides comprehensive health care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff including medical evaluation, counseling and referrals. Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, and physical examination and diagnostic tests. Interprets the data, develops and implements therapeutic plans and follows through on a continuum of patient care across the health-illness continuum and life span. EDUCATION Must be Registered and licensed in the State of NM who has successfully completed a formal NP or PA program approved by a national accrediting agency and who is then certified by a national certified organization recognized by the State. Master's Degree required.
FT & PRN Monitor/Telemetry Tech
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Telemetry Technician, shall be responsible for monitoring the telemetry status and assigned cardiac monitors of each monitored patient in the ICU unit and for those being monitored in the Med/Surg unit. This technician is responsible for assessing and evaluating the telemetry care of patients and communicating those results to the assigned nursing staff. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma (GED). Must possess the ability to read, write, and spell effectively. Experience: At least six months as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a hospital environment, preferably in the area of application. Minimum of six (6) months experience with clerical duties preferred. Must have a firm understanding of medical terminology. EKG and rhythm interpretation required. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards as defined and described on individual department competencies. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Licenses/Certificates: Must have and maintain a current training certificate in EKG monitoring, have and maintain BLS certification.

POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for registration of patients. Conduct patient interviews to obtain required information, complete requested forms, and obtain signatures. Explain hospital’s financial policy. Distributes information to required hospital departments. This position requires ability to multi-task and be self-motivated. The registrar must be knowledgeable in the registration process for ER, Outpatient Registration and Admissions. This Registrar must maintain an error rate of less than 5%. Understanding the HMS and Pro-Med system is a must. This employee must excel in point of service collections. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: Knowledge of medical terminology. Good typing and computer skills. Flexible schedule. Licenses/Certificates: None This position will be Thursday nights and also cover all other shifts needed.
