Clinical Educator, Employee Health and Staff Development

POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Hospital Educator, Employee Health & Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for the education, training, and development of hospital staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards related to employee health and occupational health. This role oversees Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training, as well as new employee orientation, annual competencies, and continuing education programs. Additionally, this position manages the full scope of the Employee Health & Occupational Health Program, promoting workplace safety, wellness, and compliance with infection control and immunization requirements. Advanced Patient Care Tech Night Shift-Emergency Department

Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities: Greet, evaluate, and assess necessary patient care. Prepares and issues receipts for account payments. - Determines insurance eligibility; completes pre-certification information for referral appointments as needed - Coordinates and arranges for referral appointments with a variety of contracted providers as ordered by provider - As directed by healthcare provider, contacts emergency and police dispatchers to respond to urgent and/or emergency situations - Copies insurance card and attaches to registration documents to ensure accuracy for timely payment of claim ## Qualifications - Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar office setting is preferred. - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
