Medical Technologist
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs overall daily operations and testing in the laboratory, reviews and maintains quality control and preventative maintenance records, inventories laboratory supplies. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited college or university. Experience: One year experience as a Medical Technologist; hospital experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: ASCP, NCA, AMT, ABB, HEW or equivalent preferred; BLS Required.

Respiratory Therapist
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides cardiopulmonary care, which includes assessment, diagnostic evaluation, interpretation and treatment of patients. Provides consultation, technical direction and/or instruction to physicians, nurses and other staff members. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Science or equivalent. NP or PA
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides comprehensive health care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff including medical evaluation, counseling and referrals. Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, and physical examination and diagnostic tests. Interprets the data, develops and implements therapeutic plans and follows through on a continuum of patient care across the health-illness continuum and life span. EDUCATION Must be Registered and licensed in the State of NM who has successfully completed a formal NP or PA program approved by a national accrediting agency and who is then certified by a national certified organization recognized by the State. Master's Degree required.
Physical Therapist
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in managing daily operations of the department. Plans, administers, and coordinates physical therapy treatments to patients from all age groups in order to maximize their potential physical functioning. Contributes to the development of policies, setting of standards, and revision of procedures as needed. Works closely with family members to assure achievement of goals and continuity of care. Provides documentation of patient progress, reassesses and modifies goals and treatments as needed. Supervises and assists with evaluating and training LPTA’s, PT techs, PT students, and the department Secretary. Takes the lead in assuring there is continuous quality improvement involving all staff members. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire and must be kept current. Primary duty of performing work requiring knowledge of an advanced type in a field of science or learning customarily acquired by a prolonged course of specialized intellectual instruction. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of an accredited college of Physical Therapy. P.T.M.S. degree minimum. Experience: Desirable characteristics include a proficiency in written and verbal communications, ability to To establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, and preferably one-year experience as a staff physical therapist. Ultrasound Tech
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as outlined in policies and procedures including but not limited to Duplex imaging and/or General ultrasound procedures. May be cross-trained into other areas in the department. Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment, observation and documentation. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within. Work is primarily independent. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: •Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Educational Program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program or equivalent. •RVS/RDCS or equivalent preferred but not required. Experience: • Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Licenses/Certificates: • ARRT register in Radiologic Technology, current State Licensure. • ARDMS registry required for technologist performing ultrasound exams. •RVS/RDCS or equivalent. •Current BLS or obtained within 60 days of employment.
Pharmacist
POSITION PURPOSE Function independently to manage medication management processes for procurement, storage, preparation, transcription, and distribution. Performs oversight of pharmacy technicians to support these processes. Monitors specified parameters of medication therapy with established protocols and monitoring programs. Provides drug information to fellow healthcare providers and to patients. Strives to improve patient safety in regard to medication therapy. Works on ad hoc projects to improve pharmacy services. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of a Pharmacy College with a Bachelors, Masters, or Pharm.D. Experience: Experience as a Hospital Pharmacist preferred. Licenses/Certificates: New Mexico Licensed Registered Pharmacist.
Revenue Cycle Liaison
Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Liaison serves as the primary operational bridge between [Hospital] on-site revenue cycle personnel and its external revenue cycle vendor partners. This position is responsible for managing inbound requests from revenue cycle vendors including billing service providers, clearinghouse contacts, practice management system vendors, and other contracted revenue cycle partners and ensuring that all actions required on a claim or patient account to facilitate timely reimbursement are completed accurately and routed to the appropriate internal resource without delay. This role requires a high degree of organizational agility, strong cross-functional communication skills, and a thorough working knowledge of the end-to-end revenue cycle to effectively triage vendor requests, coordinate internal action, and keep all stakeholders informed. Education Associate’s degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business, Health Information Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience will be considered. Experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations with working knowledge of billing, AR management, cash posting, and/or revenue cycle vendor coordination
Advanced Patient Care Tech
POSITION PURPOSE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible to greet, evaluate and determine necessary care. Documents patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and performs all care with respect for patient rights. Maintains a clean and well stocked and organized environment. Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other ancillary hospital staff to deliver timely, safe, and competent care. Provides emergency care as applicable to the scope of practice that includes vital signs, point of care testing, phlebotomy, EKG’s, activities of daily living (ADL’s), and other emergency management skills and duties. Other responsibilities may include: answering phones, coordinating transfer of patients to a higher level of care, providing 1:1 observation for suicidal patients, stocking rooms and other tasks and duties as laid out by the state scope of practice and the hospital policies and procedures. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school graduation or GED required. Successful completion of an EMT accredited program of study required. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of medical clinical experience that includes direct patient care, preferred. Licenses/Certificates: EMT certification/ license or must obtain within 90 days of employment. BLS, ACLS and PALS required upon hire/within 90 days of hire.
