Tiny Toes Program to kick-off with OB Birthing Center Open House

(Las Vegas, NM)  - Alta Vista Regional Hospital (AVRH) is excited to announce the launch of its new Tiny Toes OB Club. We want to make sure expecting moms get things started on the right foot by enrolling in this program. Last year, our staff welcomed over 250 of our newest friends and neighbors.  Tiny Toes, offered exclusively by AVRH, is designed to help make the entire childbirth experience an even more cherished lifetime event. Tiny Toes members receive the following benefits:

• Skilled and experienced staff. We take pride in our experience and our team’s skill in helping you bring your bundle of joy into the world.

• A tour of our OB units. For your peace of mind, you’re welcome to schedule a tour, meet with our staff and ask any questions you have related to your day of delivery.

• Information via our Web site through our Health Resources link. When you visit www.altavistaregionalhospital.com and click on “Health Resources,” you have access to a wealth of current information on pregnancy and childbirth.

• The well-known book entitled “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”.  This free book can help guide you through your pregnancy. It’s filled with helpful tips and information about your changing body and developing baby and what you can do to fully enjoy pregnancy and the birth of your child.

• Birthing classes. We offer birthing and breastfeeding classes to new moms or those who’d like a refresher. For topics, times and dates, call (505) 426-3660.

• A special collection of keepsakes to help celebrate the birth of your child. When your baby finally arrives, Tiny Toes will make sure you have a few memorable keepsakes from our staff.

 • Discounts from local merchants (participation varies).  We’ve partnered with local merchants to provide you with some extra perks after your delivery. These special offers will be provided to you, along with your hospital keepsakes, as you leave the hospital.

Alta Vista Regional Hospital will kick-off with an OB Birthing Center Open House on Thursday, March 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
