While hospitalized, you can direct any questions regarding the cost of your stay or insurance coverage to the admitting office.  Arrangements for payment need to be made before discharge as well as payments on all co-pays and deductibles.  All inquires regarding your bill should be made to (505) 425-6751.

Our hospital provides care for those who need it regardless of race, creed or ability to pay.  Because we provide significant amount of medical care to the community, it is essential that our patients who can pay do so on time.  The following information explains our preferred payment arrangement.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will be happy to bill your insurance carrier for you.  However, if payment by the carrier has not been made within 30 days, you will be asked to arrange for full payment of your account.  Please make sure our business office has all the needed information before you leave the hospital.  We will verify your insurance coverage either prior to or during your stay.  Bases upon this verification, we may ask for a deposit upon discharge, calculated from your estimated charges. 

You may use Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, NOVUS and personal checks or cash to meet this prepayment.  You will receive an itemized bill approximately 10 days after discharge.  Additional itemized bills are available upon request.  If you have any questions about your bill, please contact our Business Office at (505) 425-6751 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
